Universal Studios Halloween Contest

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

ELIGIBILITY:

Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia who are 13 years or older. Void where prohibited by law. No purchase necessary to enter or win.  Sweepstakes begins at 12:01am Pacific Time on September 15th, 2000.  Sweepstakes ends at 12:01am on October 16th, 2000. To enter the sweepstakes via the Internet, access http://www.audiohighway.com to submit an official online registration entry form.  All valid entries must include entrant’s name, shipping address, daytime phone number, valid e-mail address, and birth date, or entries will be disqualified. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Deadline for receipt of entry is 12:01am on October 16th, 2000.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By entering this sweepstakes, you agree to receive additional promotional information from Universal Studios, audiohighway.com (“Sweepstakes Sponsors”), and/or their partners.  Neither Sponsor is responsible for any lost, late, illegible, incomplete, misdirected mutilated mail, any electronic miscommunications or failures, technical hardware or software failures of any kind, unavailable network connections, garbled or delayed computer transmissions, or a mistake made by human error which may limit an entrant’s ability to participate in the sweepstakes.

Minors under the age of 13 are prohibited from participating in the sweepstakes and any potential winners between the ages of 13 and 18 are required to complete a Parental Permission Form.  This form must be returned to Sponsor within five (5) days of being contacted by Sponsor, or minor will forfeit his/her right to be declared a winner and/or win a prize, and an alternate winner will be selected. 

Limit one entry per e-mail address, per person, and one prize per family or household. Duplicate entries will be void.  Employees of “Sweepstakes Sponsors” and their subsidiaries, affiliates, agents and family members of each of the immediate families of their same households are ineligible.  Winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about October 19th, 2000 from all eligible entries received by audiohighway.com. If e-mail notifications are returned as undeliverable, Sponsor will attempt to re-send said e-mail up to two (2) times and if the potential winners do not respond to said e-mail, alternative winners will be selected.

Once submitted, entries become the sole property of Sponsors and will not be returned. If, for any reason, Internet portion of Sweepstakes is not capable of running as originally planned, such as from tampering or infection by computer virus, Sponsors at their sole discretion reserve the right to cancel, modify or suspend the Internet portion of Sweepstakes and conduct the drawing from all eligible Internet entries received prior to such cancellation.

PRIZES:

Winners may win one of the following prizes only:

Grand Prize (one): ARV: $1000.00. Two (2) roundtrip air tickets (First Class) to Los Angeles (October 31st, 2000 to November 2nd, 2000) to attend the Horror Nights Halloween Party (2 tickets) at Universal Studios Los Angeles. Includes two (2) nights hotel stay (1 room) and a limousine to bring the winner and companion from the airport to the hotel and back. Second Prizes (three): ARV: $400.00. RCA 27-inch television. Third Prizes (five): ARV: $150.00. DVD player. Shipping for Second and Third prizes is included.

As a bonus and incentive to by the Universal monster titles from massmerchandise.com, each title will carry a Universal decoder inside and a chance to win more prizes.

Unless prohibited, entry constitutes permission to use winners’ names, voice, and likeness for publicity purposes without any further compensation.  By entering or accepting a prize in this Sweepstakes, winners agree to be bound by these Official Rules and to conform to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.  Winners may be required to execute Affidavits of Eligibility and Liability and (unless prohibited) Publicity Release, and return them within 10 days or an alternative winner will be selected.
